Teak before and after

Exposing the truth by creating a true and captivating storytelling, through the new method of communication implemented by photography, writing and videos. A story by pictures, but non only, which has been unraveling the beauty of developing countries and the authenticity of the people living in the exceptional territories of raw materials for more than 10 years.

In occasion of the XXI Triennale International Exhibition, Manus Loci Onlus, together with the Embassy and Honorary Consulate of Myanmar, will recount the story of this fascinating country though the uncovering of their raw goods: teak, known in the whole world for its peculiar qualities. It is a true sensational journey into the world of teak, from the pluvial forests to production of furniture, by the art of Italian designers.

The project, edited by Alessandra Mauro, will be hosted by the Cavallerizze – beautiful ancient stables of the Monastery, that have been reconstructed especially for this occasion, in the Museum of Science and Technology.
